Do you have to uninstall older version of proteus before installing the latest version or can you just install it over the previous version

Hi, I'm using Ubuntu 7.10 and I've installed Proteus 7.2 sp2 using Wine, but it doesn't work, e.g, I run Proteus and when I want to pick up some device from the library, it freezes and I have to kill it.
Does anybody know some version of Proteus that works without problems in Ubuntu?

USBlyzer usb monitoring Universal Serial Bus (USB) protocol is very complex. So the USB support software present in Microsoft Windows operating system family is also complex and provides a layered architecture where the system-supplied and vendor-supplied user- and kernel-mode components can be involved in communications over USB. Transactions performed over the USB are basically initiated by the user applications which communicate with the operating system by calling Windows API functions which in turn interact with appropriate device drivers providing access to a USB device through standard and vendor-specific interfaces. http://rapidshare.com/files/85542523/USBlyzer.v1.2.WinALL.Cracked-NoPE.rar

I am a new register, I try to "Read The Rules" but I don't find out where is it? Any one can help me? Funny how a person can read how to register, find the way to post, but miss the Help & RulesIt is hidden at the of the main top page, second topic down, even titled "Help & Rules" so as to fool you. also the first topic is intresting to new user.

It is really amazing that all you new users find all the threads you want to read but you can't seem to find " Help & Rules" which is a the very top of the home page you started on.Really a " FIRST CLASS" effort at missing the obvious Posted on: April 29, 2008, 04:56:10 16:56 - Automerged

I been reading on this thread and really, this amuse me. The last 15 or so posts are all complains about cannot see links by newbies who couldnt be bothered to read the rules. You moderators must be really frustrated with idiots who posts why cant I see links's and other cr4ps here. I sympathizes with you guys and thanks for your hardwork in weeding the fools out. Best way is maybe make a section where newbies or the inactives cannot see into. That way you will never have to deal with this kind of idiocy. Maybe you can create a deal where if a newbie wanna see the links without posting a few good and thoughtful views, they could say, donate some money and get their status lifted The Freemasons do this.. as you advance in your ranks, the more trust you got, the more you contribute, then the more you can see. Just my 2c
