There as been no new release for Proteus 7.6sp4, the Released files are

Note: Important you follow these Rules
1- For windows Vista and Seven users do not forget to run the patch as administrator (Right Click->Run As Administrator)
2- Do not reply with any "ISIS Crash" message until you know the cause, this will be easier to trace.

1. Uninstall old versions of proteus first.
2. Delete the program folder labcenter manually (Labcenter Electronics folder)
3. Run proteus 7.1 sp2 setup file
4. Remove old Proteus license (if exists)
5. Point to the new LICENCE.lxk in the patch folder and install it.
6. Continue the installing steps
7. After all, run the patch file ( patch.exe ) point it to your proteus folder
8. Thats all, enjoy...

Hii Rego.

I downloaded Proteus 7.1 sp2 .I tried to install it on win98, but when it asks for the  license key , the license manager does not run , rather it says that " The License Manager Must be run with Administrator Rights " and the installation ceases.
Hope you could find a possible solution for this

Hi Shobhit!

The problem is solved!! (At least on Windows ME but I think it works on win98 too).
So:
1. Install the Rego's big file.
2. When the licence window popups, choose the server (not the local !) line, and leave this blank. Then NEXT!
3. After the installing copy the MAXIM...lxk file to the new BIN directory and  run the Rego's last patch.exe as usual.
4. Run ISIS.exe in BIN at once (it doesn't work yet but makes some reg keys).
5. Apply (double click) this reg file:

Remark: a big simulation may not work if the PC isn't fast enough...

There are two topic with same things:
1. Proton + V3 Cracked By Mpeker             ~58M
2. Proteus 7.1 sp2 full                            ~ 40M

and have link for : Proton Development Suite + Proteus Pro V7.1 sp4 Setup (Crownhill Associates)
with different file size 58M and 40M (same date of creation)
 which one is valid

BOTH as they are not the same program
one is Proton Development Suite plus Protus
the other is Protus without Proton Development Suite

Bet you cant program a 16f690 with Protus

For users who want  (pappinait1 )or need, i put proteus 7.2.SP2 not patch and without key on rapidshare, but the embrocation patch and license work good with it...

I tried bad way to install and this is the only thing to show up.
This is the only thing I can think that may be the problem, using regedit what do you get for x in dword?

Question after running patch what files have *.bak added in the BIN & MODELS folders
post a list like this one file from MODELS >>   KEYPAD.DLL.BAK

the *.bak files are backups of files original:
KEYPAD.DLL.BAK = original file without crack
KEYPAD.DLL = patched file (cracked)
 

yes I know but that post was aimed at the people that the program quits on them.Are all the files cracked and are they being updated / replaced by labcenter update
It must be one of the patched files that is missing. and / or is being replaced by update not being stoped.
I have no problem on main pc and two old latops.

Tested! When any drawing write, Proteus will exit

Thanks for this wonderful software,Recently i assembled a new system having 2GB Ram,DG33 Classic Intel Original Motherboard,Core 2 Duo E7300 Processor of 2.33 Ghz with MS XP professional Original ,even i tried with V7.2 SP2 The program exits if creating new circuits,(Fresh Installation no Previous installation of Protus)otherwise while viewing or simulating the examples given by Proteus are working fine without any Problem.After getting the Final Patch I will try.
